RCES parents, please mark your calendars and plan to attend the next PTO dinner meeting at RCES on Friday, March 15. Bring a potluck dish to share and join other parents and teachers for an hour of socializing and good food starting at 6 p.m.; the short business meeting will begin at 7. PTO gives you an opportunity to get involved in your child’s school in very easy, but important ways.
The time commitment is minimal, but the rewards are great, and your child will benefit from your participation. Please plan to attend.
• The RCHS Blood Drive is scheduled for Monday. March 18. This is such an easy, and relatively painless, way to do something good for others in the community. Please mark your calendar and visit the school between 4 and 8 p.m. to make your donation. If you have further questions, please call RCHS Nurse Margaret Wiese at 987-8575.
• The next RCHS PAC (Parents Advisory Council) meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, March 20 at noon in the Culinary Arts room (Room 1). If you care about RCHS programs, and want to know more, please plan to attend.
The meetings are open to anyone, and questions are encouraged. The success of a high school depends in part on the involvement of its parent community.
