Funeral services were conducted on Thursday, Feb. 28 at Nazareth Baptist Church in Boston with the Rev. Howard R. Frye officiating.
Interment was in the church cemetery. ;

Dudley Pullen

Dudley Franklin “Frank" Pullen, 69, of Front Royal died Saturday, March 2 at his residence.
Funeral services were conducted on Tuesday at Maddox Funeral Home in Front Royal bv the Rev. Jimmy Burke. Entombment was in Shenandoah Memorial Park.
Mr. Pullen was bom Nov. 15, 1932 in Rappahannock County, son of the late Dudley and Julia Dulin Pullen.
He was an Army veteran of the Korean War and a truck driver for Grove Manufacturing. He was a member of the New Covenant Church in Front Royal and Giles B. Cook Post 53, American Legion.
Surviving are his wife, Nancy Pullen; six daughters, Darlene Derflinger of Front Royal, Linda Maxwell of Fletcher, N.C., Holly Nunn of Raleigh, N.C., Barbara Strickland, Robin Mincey and Tammy Pullen, all of Conway, S.C.; 14 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren, a great-great-granddaughter and a great-greatgreat-granddaughter.
Also surviving are two brothers, Charles Pullen and Billy Pullen, both of Chester Gap and eight sisters, Ruby Reid of Culpeper, Gracie Himes. Barbara Morris and Sandra Pullen, both of Chester Gap, Eleanor Ryan, Elsie Wines, Sue Taylor and Ann Williams, all of Front Royal.
