Resolution Of Appreciation:
Frances Thorton
WHEREAS, FRANCES THORNTON as served as a volunteer at the Rappahannock County Library for over twenty years; and,
WHEREAS, her recent passing has left a void in our hearts; and,
WHEREAS, Mrs. Thornton served her community as a library volunteer and as a member of the Friends Of The Rappahannock County Library for decades (amongst many other civic activities too numerous to mention); and,
WHEREAS, Frances Thornton’s commitment to her community and its cultural values has been an example that her friends and neighbors should seek to emulate.
NOW, THEREFOR, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Rappahannock County Library Board of trustees, that it bears witness to the selfless service of Frances Thornton to Rappahannock county and to its citizens. Further, that it joins with the community in mourning the passing of this fine lady, who has meant so much to all of us.
