Mr. Marion Watts came to, Washington from Culpepe^ and operated a barber shopr on Main Street where ther “Odyssey Shop” is now. He trained many people to be, barbers, and cut ladies hair., He had an apartment behind the barber shop and leased part of the building as a restaurant. „
Mr. Watts also operated a, barber shop in Amissville. He was open at certain times to accommodate the people there.
Mr. John Eubanks is the; barber now and is located or* US 211 west of Sperryville, along with Mrs. Michelle Burke. John is open on; Monday’s at the Flint Hill Fire Hall.
We have seen many styles' come and go including crew, cuts, flat tops, long hair,j shaved and others. A bar-; ber’s job is difficult due toi pleasing each person as to! their choice.

Mrs. Lillie Pullen has returned home after being a patient in the Page Memorial, Hospital at Lurav.
Mr. and Mrs. W.C. Dennis of> Jackson, S.C. has been spendT ing sometime in the Rannvi Avlor home and also visiting other relatives in the area. j
