Director Smythe is seeking community support to create a football program next year that would start either with a grade 6 through 8 junior panther team or a grade 8 and 9 freshman team. The Rappahannock County School Sports Association has . endorsed the idea, and other ! groups and individual endorsements and contributions are sought too.
Mr. Smythe has set May 1 as the go/no go deadline, so those who favor a football program should attend the March 13 meeting or contact Jon Smythe at the high school.
