The Middle Street Gallery is proud to announce, "Nostalgic Imagery", a showing of recent oil paintings by Linda Lawler.

"Nostalgic Imagery" is a show of still life paintings in Ms. Lawler's trademark sharp, detailed style and focuses upon everyday objects from a simpler time in our nation.

Typical grassroots Americana, portrayed in rich, glowing oils, Ms. Lawler has also included a still life, "Homage to Willem Claesz Heda", which reflects the direct influence of her current studies as a registered copyist at the National Gallery of Art.

The show runs from Nov. 1 through Nov. 24 with an opening reception on Sunday, Nov. 3 from 2 until 6 p.m. The Middle Street Gallery is located in Washington and hours are Friday through Sunday from ,11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
