and Hal Hunter were recognized and thanked for their individual contributions to the organization and the County over the past several years.
At a previous meeting, the Board of Directors established a Director Emeritus position and elected Mitzie Young and Marc Malik as the first directors to serve in this honored capacity. Their individual service cf many years was acknowledged and President Lander vowed to seek their sage advice on matters which they both had toiled and continue to hold dear for the County and RLEP. Treasurer Bruce Sloane reported on the organization’s financial condition and Secretary Emery Lazar announced the results of the member balloting to elect directors for 2002-03.
Re-elected directors are: Don Audette, Richard Biby, Jim Gannon, Phil Irwin, Bruce Jones, Paul Komar, Bob Lander, Emery Lazar, Bruce Sloane, and Joy Sloane. Directors elected to their first term are: Janet Davis, Beverly Hunter and Fran Krebser.
The new Board of Directors re-elected the officers of the organization: Bob Lander, President; Paul Komar, Vice President; Emery Lazar, Secretary; Bruce Sloane, Treasurer.
