Athletic Director

There was a very light athletic schedule for the week, with only two contests being played.

The cross country contest at Page County and the Junior Panther Girls’ Basketball contest at Marshall Middle School were canceled.

The JV Girls’ Basketball team picked up a 33-19 win over Manassas Park to improve their season record to 5-8.

The Lady Panthers jumped out to a sizable lead in the first two quarters only to see the Lady Cougars make a run in the third quarter. The Panthers closed out the game by out-scoring Manassas Park in the fourth quarter to secure the win.

Dani Siccardi paced the JV Lady Panthers in scoring for the contest.

The Varsity Girls’ Basketball team dropped a close 46-38 contest to Manassas Park. The Lady Panthers played their best half of the season to take a 22-21 lead into the locker room at half time.

Molly Burke’s seven first quarter points helped provide the Lady Panthers with the halftime lead.

The Lady Cougars went on an 8-0 run to begin the third quarter to take a 29-22 lead midway through the quarter.

The Panthers worked to cut the lead but could get no closer that three points in the fourth quarter as the team’s record fell to 0-13 on the season.
