Stonewall-Hawthorne Commissioner Tom Tepper said that he “didn’t disagree with the cart before the horse—unless it is not allowed in the Zoning Ordinance,” and BZA Representative Butch Zindel pointed out that many people build structures first that then become guest houses or family apartments after their main home is constructed.

Jackson District Commissioner Ray Brown seconded the motion to postpone, and it was unanimously approved.
The Norths will be required to provide additional information, including a more detailed site plan, conditional approval on a new septic field, and VDOT okay for the proposed driveway entrance.
