Hunter safety courses set

Hunter safety courses will be held in Culpeper and Fauquier this year and Rappahannock residents are encouraged to participate. In Culpeper, classes will be held Nov. 5 and 6 from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. and all day on Nov. 9 beginning at 8 a.m. For additional information call John Dodson at 543-2070.

In Fauquier classes will be held at the Warrenton police Training Center on Carriage House Lane on Nov. 9, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Nov. 10, noon to 4 p.m. The class is open to the first 65 people and again contact Mr. Dodson.

Clinic will be open Oct. 30

The Rappahannock Free Clinic, a local operation o* the Fauquier Free Clinic Inc., is currently open on the first, third and fifth Wednesdays of each month. The clinic will be open. Wednesday, Oct. 30 and not again until Nov. 6. Patient registration is from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the Rappahannock Public Health Department Building. For information call 347-0394.

Events at CRH planned

The following events are organized through Culpeper Regional Hospital.

Oct. 29: Sleeping Problems, a free hour-long session at Culpeper Regional Hospital, 6 to 7 p.m. To register, call 8294190.

Oct. 31: Safe Trick or Treat, an annual event that many children anticipate at Culpeper Regional Hospital. Children are invited to the first floor Lobby (at Sunset Lane and Redbud Street) to collect candy, games and prizes from 4 to 5 p.m.

Fall of)en house scheduled

American Road Motorcycles will hold their fall open house on Sunday, Oct. 27 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at their location at 14828A Lee Highway in Amissville.

There will be fun, food and live music performed by “The Knotz."
