The exuberant feeling brought on by a beautiful fall day in Rappahannock County was continued at an evening filled with fun, entertainment and refreshments. All of which was provided by members and friends attending the Rappahannock League for Environmental Protection annual membership meeting on (Jet 18 at the Washington Volunteer Fire Department Fire Hall.
Over 75 neighbors, including several from Culpeper and Madison Counties, enjoyed music by the Rappahannock Quartet, food from Rae’s Deli and ECOW, goat cheese prepared by Tack House Kitchen, coffee by Central Coffee Roasters and cider from Williams Orchard.
Wine samples were offered by Farfelu, Gray Ghost, Rappahannock Cellars, Sharp Rock and Smokehouse wineries.
The evening, billed as a “Rappahannock Sampler”, exceeded attendee expectations. The highlight of the festivities was the opportunity for neighbors to greet and meet and enjoy the camaraderie that only friends can engender.
