With the unrest of the past three weeks swirling around us, it is sometimes hard to settle down to the business of learning.
Although we as adults try to downplay our concerns and fears, the students are pretty savvy.
It became necessary this past week to sit down with some of the Prep School students and talk about recent events.
Most of the questions centered on the puzzlement they felt: why would someone harm innocent people for attention?
If it is a terrorist action, why not concentrate on those they had more to fear from?
There are no easy answers.
We can’t control the acts of terror, but we can take precautions and continue
