Thomas Vann Baldwin, the son of Paul and Cucie Baldwin of Washington, has recently earned high honors in his academic class at the Virginia Military Institute. He was awarded the rank of Regimental S-4 Captain, becoming the 8th highest ranking cadet in his class and college. He was selected from numerous other applicants for his academic, athletic, and military attributes. Along with the privilege of being a cadet captain, Cadet Baldwin holds the significant responsibility as the chief logistical officer for the entire VMI corps of cadets, numbering over 1,600.
