A Halloween Party will be hosted by the Salem Volunteer Fire Department at their Firehouse on Sperryville Pike on Saturday, Oct. 26 from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m.
They will be having food, games, prizes, music, pumpkin carving and a costume contest. Admission to the party is free, but donations will be accepted.
Sympathy is extended to Mrs. Harriet Scott, one of my former graduate classmates on the loss of her brother, Mr. Andrew Green, 80 years of age, who passed away at his home in Orange on Sunday, Oct. 13.
Volunteers are needed at the Culpeper CountyLibrary, and you could fill in several hours for either Wednesday, Thursday or Friday, please call the library for more information and hours.
