Later the tour will stop for a tour of the Warren Rifles Confederate Museum and of Belle Boyd’s Cottage behind the Warren Heritage Society.
The tour will also highlight other Front Royal Civil War events including the dragging deaths of five of Mosby’s men in reprisal for guerrilla activities and the secret work of spy Belle Boyd.
This half of the bus tour will be hosted by Melissa Delcour, a Park Service Civil War historian and published author who has specialized in the Battle of Front Royal.
