Mr. and Mrs. Joe Peregory, Joseph and Jennifer, Mr. and Mrs. Gregg Heflin, Michael, Krystal and Jacob, Kevin Grigsby, Dougie Settle and Ray Wharton returned home last Sunday from a ten-day vacation in Florida, at a resort in Kissimme.
Stopping along the way, one delicious meal was taken of in Brunswick, Georgia. Then on to Jacksonville, Florida before reaching their resort.
They made trips to Orlando and Daytona where activities engaged in included, swimming, basketball, golf and volleyball as well as shopping and attending the show “Arabian Nights.”
Another famous restaurant was the “Angels Seafood House.” Daily, the temperatures were from 85 to 90 degrees. En route home, they spent two days in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
Here was some more shopping and dining at the famous “Benjamin’s Calabash Seafood,” where an old ship had been restored and turned into a restaurant.
Saturday evening the group dined at the Monterey Bay Hotel and then traveling through Dunn, North Carolina they could not pass
