Middle Street Gallery announces the opening of a show of expressive watercolors by Washington area artist, Carol "Lumier" Baliles, on Friday, April 4. There will be a reception on Sunday, April 6, from 2 to 6 p.m.
The show continues through April 30, Fridays through Sundays from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Baliles will be in attendance all four Sundays during the exhibit to speak about her art.
Baliles was formerly an assistant art director of the Tbrpedo Factory Art Center in historic Old Town Alexandria, where her studio is located. Her work has been in more than 65 exhibitions with awards and selections by notable curators. Gid Brown Baptist
Church to hold
revival April 13-18
Pastor John Burke invites everyone to attend a revival at Gid Brown Bible Baptist Church in Washington from April 13-18 at 7:30 p.m. Evangelist Mark Rogers of Fairbanks, Ala., will be featured. There will be special singing each night as well as a nursery.
