Fifty Rappahannock school children will be guests in Front Royal Saturday to take part in the parade and see the premiere showing of Bing Crosby's new movie, "Riding High." The youngsters will be furnished a free lunch and will be on hand to see the dedication of the stadium.
The last re-assessment of real estate in Rappahannock County was made over 20 years ago, according to the best information available. According to a law passed by the General Assembly of Virginia in 1946 there must be a general reassessment of real estate in Rappahannock in 1950. Hie total cost of this reassessment is estimated to be approximately $5,000. A local board which has been appointed Joe D. Keyser, E. M. Jones, C. E. Johnson, Jr. has full charge of the reassessment.
