Michael W. Hitt
Family in Amissville
Michael Wayne Hitt, 43, of The Plains, Va., died on March 25 at the University of Virginia Medical Center in Charlottesville.
He was bom May 16, 1959 to Richard T. Hitx and the late Frances Frazier Hitt.
Mr. Hitt was a painter, and a member of the Sons of the American Legion, Post #72 in Warrenton.
He is survived by his three daughters, Ashleigh, Brittany and Courtney Hitt, all of Remington.
Additional survivors include a stepmother Betty Jane Hitt of Amissville, one sister, Patricia Hitt Cundiff of Culpeper, two brothers, Richard T. Hitt Jr. of Warrenton and Gregory Allen Hitt of Rappahannock County, one stepbrother, Charles Baldwin and one stepsister, Cindy Kelly, three nieces and one nephew.
A memorial service was held on March 29 at Moser Funeral Home in Warrenton.
