Supporters have been very generous through the years with auction contributions because they realize that this event is one of the major fundraisers the Lions Club counts on to keep serving many special needs of the community.
We’re asking everyone to begin thinking about going on a family treasure hunt—in basement, garage, attic, bam and tool shed— wherever there are things you no longer use, have forgotten where you put or are ready to up-grade or replace.
Auction chairman Bob Darby will appoint area coordinators in different neighborhoods to arrange for pick-ups.
Donations to the Lions is a tax-deductible item for 2003 taxes.
This year the Lions are raffling off a Dale Earnhardt, Jr. limited edition signature series Model 870 12 gauge shotgun. Chances are only one dollar each and can be obtained from any Lions Club member.
