She is survived by one daughter, C. Roberta Sheppard of Jeffersonton, Va., and two sons, William Gaskins of Jeffersonton and James Gaskins of Madison.
Additional survivors include three grandsons, Byron, Marcus and Roger, three sisters, Josephine Pauline Lawson of Rixeyville, Icy Tbliver of Amissville and Mary Talbert of Washington D.C. and a number of nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held March 29 at Rising Zion Baptist Church in Jeffersonton with the Rev. Richard Gardner of Sterling, Va. officiating.
Interment was in the Gaskins family cemetery in Jeffersonton, Va.
