E-Cow celebrates spring
A perfect way to celebrate spring is with a tasting event. On Saturday. April 26 Epicurious Cow will explore the world with olives, almonds and the wines of Austria, namely Anton Bauer, presented by Klaus Wittauer. There also will be a sampling of fine meats from Niman Ranch and goat cheeses from across the country. The market is located at the intersection of Routes 211 and 729 at Ben Venue.

Dog food, supplies needed
Cadette Girl Scout Troop #590 is sponsoring a drive for the Rappahannock Animal Welfare League (RAWL). It needs canned dog food (no dried), dog bones, chew toys, towels, shampoo, leashes and collars. The scouts request that supplies for dogs be placed in the RAWL boxes at the Rappahannock Farmers' Coop. Hapkley's Store, Horse & Hound and Settle's Grocery. Envelopes are available at these sites for monetary donations.
