Ki Theatre will burst forth with a staged reading of Dylan Thomas’s great springtime masterpiece, “Under Milk Wood,” featuring 16 Rappahannock friends and neighbors taking on more than 50 roles on Saturday and Sunday, April 12 and 13.
“Under Milk Wood” has been described as a rowdy and earthy Welsh version of “Our Town.” It is a moving and often hilarious account of one spring day in a small coastal Welsh village.
Dylan Thomas’s great gift was to give expression to the magnificent flavor and variety of life in his masterpiece, written shortly before his death.
