The trash that has been gathering along our county roadways over the winter is more visible in some spots than the beautiful spring flowers and green grasses that are re-awakening.
Many citizens have already been planning and participating in clean-up efforts to alleviate environmental eyesores. Everyone is welcomed and encouraged to participate in some way towards sprucing up the county for spring.
It would be great if a group could take on Fodderstack Road before the big 25th anniversary race on Saturday, April 26. There are several particularly trashy roads that need extra attention, such as the Shade Road near the transfer station.
