Henry Glassie, an authority on historic architecture of Virginia, will speak and present a slide show on “Farmhouses and other Treasures of Rappahannock County,” on Sunday, April 6. The program, free and open to the public, will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. at Trinity Episcopal Church in the Town of Washington. It is sponsored by the Rappahannock League for Environmental Protection, the Piedmont Environmental Council and the National Trust for Historic Preservation. Glassie, a professor at the University of Indiana, is a proponent of rural preservation and has written books on historic housing design and development. For information, call 987-8504.
