1999 respectively. But, 2002 saw new easements across the county bearing the signatures of long-familiar names (Col. Robert Dickey, Sandra Massie Forbush, Mary Parrish) — as well as the first purchased easement, and the first accepted by the federal government.
As in the past, the Wakefield Magisterial District proved fertile soil for new easements in 2002. Most significant was completion of the easement program for Wakefield Manor Farm, begun by the Dickey family more than 20 years earlier.
