• On Thursday, Feb. 10 the Washington Architectural Review Board (ARB) will meet at 7:30 p.m. at the Town Hall on Gay Street. • On Saturday, Feb. 12,3-5 p.m. the Scrabble School Preservation Foundation will conduct a public forum at the Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church (Rt 522 south of Woodville). Neighbors and friends of Scrabble School and the general public will be able to provide input regarding the future of the Scrabble School building and property. • On Feb. 14,2005 the Town of Washington will hold a joint meeting of the Planning Commission and the Town Council at 7:30 p.m. at Town Hall to begin the Comprehensive Plan review. • On Wednesday, Feb. 16 the Rappahannock County Planning Commission will meet at 7:30 p.m. at the courthouse on Gay Street.

New Business: Guest speaker, Dick McNear, Former Director of Planning, Faquier County Appointment of representative to Water Quality Advisory Committee • On Feb. 23, 2005 the Town of Washington will hold a Public Meeting at 7:30 p.m. at Town Hall to discuss the scope of the proposed sanitary sewer project in the town. A brief presentation of the preliminary engineering design of the project by the town’s consultant engineering firm, WW Associates, will be followed by a general project discussion. Residents and property owners are encouraged to provide input in regard to locations of the proposed sewer pump stations to be located on individual properties.
