Kenneth Slowik, artistic director of the Smithsonian’s Chamber Music Program, has described “The Art of Fugue” as “perhaps the greatest exposition of the possibilities of counterpoint.” Slowik is one of four musicians comprising The Smithsonian Consort of Viols who will play at the upcoming concert.
