Talk to most attorneys, and they will say that the courts are backed up, often waiting months for a trial to take place. Such was the case of Kenneth Older Kratz, 39, of Chester Gap.
Kratz had been living in Canada until recently, when authorities found he had entered the country illegally, and had several felony charges involving illicit i drugs pending in RappahannJdc County- >
Canadial authorities transported Kratz to the IJnited States, where he was incarcerated in the jail in Watertown, IV.Y., before being transferred to the Warren County Jail.
His case was * to be heard in Rappahannock County Circuit Court on Feb. 3, 2005, but it was rescheduled for March 21, 2005.
An additional charge is now on his list of offenses — failure to appear as required while charged with a felony offense.
