scientists
advance to
regional
competition

From kaleidoscopes to cows, crickets to mealworms, soccer to fatigue, 25 Rappahannock County students will represent the county at Piedmont Community College in Charlottesville, Va. on March 14 for the 2005 Regional Science Fair.
The students all entered the 2005 Rappahannock County Science Fair with Rappahannock Elementary School claiming 16 top awards and Rappahannock County High School adding nine.
All of the 19 senior division entries were made by students enrolled in honors biology at Rappahannock County High School.
The students not only worked within their science class, but the project was incorporated in their English classes as well, with the preparation of the writing components of their projects.
The overall winner in the senior division was Christina Naramore, a sophomore who
