The students are in the middle of the winter ski program. Every Wednesday, parents, teachers and students go to Massanutten where they can ski, snowboard or tube.
The high school at Hearthstone recently completed an article for RappFLOW describing our watershed. A watershed is a portion of land that drains any surface water into a specific body of water. Hearthstone school is located in the Upper Thornton River watershed in Sperryville. The article will be published in RappFLOWs newsletter.
Hearthstone School will hold it’s Valentine Hoot on Saturday, February 12, 2005, beginning at 7:00 pm. This 9th annual hoot will be held at Hearthstone School, located on route 211 two miles west of Sperryville, Virginia.
Several local and national musicians have generously donated their time and talents to the hoot, including Anna Wolfe, Brooksie Wells, Dontez Harris, John Hallberg, Carsie and Steve Van Dam.
