member from the department as well as the community. We would like everyone who is able to attend. We’d like to share with you our new plans for the department, upcoming events, and most importantly, allow the community to meet and interact with the new line officers and board members.
At the heart
The main center of our community is the Chester Gap Baptist Church. Currently, the congregation is growing to such an extent that fund raising efforts are underway to build a new church so all who wish may find room to worship.
The church has recently chartered a Cub Scout pack to provide some much needed positive direction for the local boys. There are few outlets for young boys in our small community and Cub Scouts provides a way for boys to be boys but also to build on positive character traits.
