Carol Lucking came aboard as Starfish Program Coordinator in 2003. She had moved to the county in 1989 with husband Bob, a fine furniture maker, and their three children, now all students at Rappahannock County High School. With a bachelor's degree in Psychology and Community Leadership & Development and a Master’s in Counseling and Human Resources, as well as extensive experience working with youth and families, Lucking%as a natural choice to replace then-coordinator Ellen Adams. Adams still serves on the Starfish Executive Committee, the volunteer group that manages and oversees the program.
