This year’s “Dream Keeper Award” was given to E. Franklin Warner, posthumously, and accepted by his wife, Dorothy Warner. Bob Lander, president of the Scrabble School Preservation Foundation established by Mr. Warner in the 1990s, spoke of Warner’s contribution to education and his service to many organizations in the county. Lillian Aylor, president of the Julia E. Boddie Scholarship Committee, presented the award to Mrs. ' Warner. I
