The Madison Cosmetology program, under the Instruction of Joyce Lindsey, is known for winning many local, district and state competition awards and trophies. Every student that has completed this program has passed their Cosmetology state exam for licensure in Virginia.
“I want to be the very best and I always want my students to be better than I am. Their success is what makes me successful. We have a lot of pride in our program and I am very proud of all of our accomplishments.
This national award is an honor and I am blessed to have a job that allows me the opportunity to have fun while working. I’m having the time of my life,” said Lindsey who was particularly pleased as she received this award on her birthday - January 10.
Joyce is the daughter of Lester and Hazel Deal of Sperryville and a 1978 graduate of Rappahannock County High School.
