Chaz Evans-Haywood
U.S. Senator George Allen (R-VA) will have his representative for Western Virginia, Chaz Evans-Haywood, available to meet with local citizens on Wednesday, January 25, at the Rappahannock County Library from noon to 1:30 p.m. to discuss issues facing the area with constituents and to help anyone having problems with a federal agency.
“If you’re having problems with a federal agency or want to express your opinion on issues facing Virginia or the nation, I’d urge you to come down and talk to Chaz in Washington. Through these local visits, we can bring some good Virginia common sense back to Washington, D.C.,” remarked Allen.

January 25-March 8: Rower
arranging classes offered
The Rappahannock County Garden Club is offering classes in “Very Basic Flower Arranging” starting Wednesday January 25 and running for the next six Wednesdays through March 8. Classes, open to club members and interested community residents alike, will be held in Trinity Episcopal Church Parish Hall in Washington at 11 a. m. Please call Susan Jones, 675-3152, to reserve a space. Cost is $30 for the series. Class size is limited.
