The town council authorized $2,000 to pay for the survey.

The council acknowledged the receipt of five applications for the two empty Architectural Review Board seats, but declined to vote on a selection at their January meeting , in order to give council members time to meet and consider applicants.
The applicants are. Michelle Schwartz, owner of Heritage House and wife of Planning Commission Chairman Gary Schwartz, Kevin Adams, owner of the Gay Street Inn,'John Sullivan, a Flint Hill resident who owns “The Log House”,a small Bed and Breakfast affiliated with the Middleton Inn and who recently purchased High Meadows in Washington, Randy Greehan, a local land use attorney, and John MacPherson, owner of Foster Harris House.
