finished 3rd at 112 lbs. and Jeremy Diley, the Rappahannock heavy-weight wrestler finished 3rd at 285 lbs. Tyler Armor, finished 4th at 119 lbs. together with John Mello who finished 4th at 160 lbs. and Aidam Demolli finished 4th 215 lbs.
Will Downey at 125 lbs. and Daniel Clement at 135 lbs., both finished 5th and Jacob Racer finished 6th at 140 lbs.
A total of seven Varsity wrestlers from the Rappahannock team will travel to the Regional Wrestling Tburnament which will be held at Strasburg high school at 9:00 a.m. this Saturday., Feb. 24.
Assistant Coach Hodge Miller is proud of this years program, as they send multiple athletes to the regionals this year. “We are moving in the right direction,” said Miller. “It would be nice to send some of the boys to states.”
