Prepare to rally Prepare to stand tall. For the last several months, Rappahannock residents have watched while Loudoun and Fauquier Counties dealt with, Dominion Power and their proposed plans to rim power lines through their pristine lands. . There was sympathy and empathy but fortunately it was over there — not in our backyards. Until now. With mounting pressure and threatened lawsuits from other areas, Dominion is now looking for the path of least resistance and think that it might be Rappahannock and Culpeper. County administrator John McCarthy will be looking to all of us to*rally behind the county’s efforts with lots of help from the Piedmont Environmental Council and the Rappahannock League of Environmental Protection. There’s an informational meeting tonight at the high school auditorium beginning at 7 p.m. Everyone is encouraged to come, to learn more and to be willing to stand tall.
