Other proposed increases include $10,000 for Next Step, the successful college and career placement program at the high school.

The budget also proposes to add a new 71 passenger bus and a used Dodge Durango to the school fleet. Budgeted fuel costs are similar to last year and there is no proposed increase for a sewer upgrade. Last year, $35,000 was budgeted to improve the sewer system to meet Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ)
