Margaret Garner Tucker, 86, mother, homemaker, and office assistant, passed away at her home near Washington, Virginia, Monday. evening, February 19.

She was bom near East New Market, Maryland, the daughter of the Rev. James Harry Gamer and Jennie Emmaline Gardner, and graduated from Hanna More Academy, near Reisterstown, Maryland in 1939.

Mrs. Tucker was married to Eugene Tucker, of Arlington, Va., in 1940, and they made their home in the Washington, D.C. area until 1978, when they moved to their beloved mountain home near Washington, Va.

She held a variety of positions including medical secretary,, office manager, seamstress, and bookkeeper while rearing her four children in Arlington.
