St. Patrick’s Day Celebration

The Inn At Kelly’s Ford and “All Things Irish" (Rathuil) invite you to an Irish Ceili to benefit the State Theatre Foundation.
The event will take place on Saturday, March 17 from 5 p.m. until midnight. The event will celebrate St Patrick’s Day and the Anniversary of the Battle of Kelly's Ford. Come and cheer St. Patrick with a live band from Cork, Ireland and learn how to dance the Irish Ceili, a traditional Irish Har>«» Min to American square dancing. The Morrison Brothers and Timmy “The Brit” McCarthy will be the dance callers and pro> entertainment. Cannons will be fired by Civil War re* enactors who will be dressed in typical Civil War uniforms. Suent and live auctions will feature such incredible items as: v d Redskins tickets and parking to a game of your choice; Caribbean Cruise for two; sports memorabilia signed by John Riggins, Dan Marino and other well-known athletes; a catered dinner in your home from Foti’s Restaurant; a “restaurant frenzy” with items donated from Thornton River Grille and Rudy's in SperryviUe among others; local artist contributions; car care and detailing packages; Irish gift ware; gift baskets, and other items equally wonderful that, space does not permit listing ^
Tickets must be purchased in advance from the State Theatre Office at 307 South Main Street(727-7979) or from several Downtown merchants including Peterson’s Jewelers, * Rathuil, Frenchman’s Comer, Comer Shelf Bookstore; ! Pepperberries, Second Bank and Trust - main office; Wachovia Bank, Main Street Office; and BB&T Bank, Davis Street Office.
Ticket prices are $35 for adults, $20 for students, and5 ' / l there is no charge for children under the age of 12. The price\t of the ticket includes an Irish buffet dinner with non-alcoholic: beverage; music and dancing; and of course the chance to bid on many great items in the silent or live auctions. A cash bar ; will be available. The Master of Ceremonies and Auctioneer i for the evening will be Culpeper’s own Ron Leftwich of ,? Culpeper Auction Associates.
