The Rappahannock County Board of Supervisors adopted a suite of anti-power line initiatives at its monthly meeting Monday afternoon.
Among the measures approved is a $50,000 appropriation for legale defense against Dominion Virginia Power’s plan to expand the existing transmission corridor through the eastern part of the county.
The funding initiative passed by a 4-to-l vote with Wakefield District Supervisor Roger Welch the only board member dissenting.
