APPLICATIONS): 1) Robert “Standing Buffalo” King dba Counselor/Consultant; sign at 360 Main Street. • On Tuesday, March 13 the Rappahannock County School Board will meet at 7 p.m. closed session and 7:30 p.m. public session at RCHS band room. • The Town of Washington will hold its regularly scheduled Town Council meeting on March 14, at 7:30 p.m. at Town Hall. Highlights from the agenda include a wastewater treatment plant update, consideration of a Town beautification project, an energy conservation project, a draft Boundary Line Adjustment Policy, a draft Historic District Ordinance, a draft Historic Guidelines, and the appointments of a new Planning Commission and ARB member.
The Town of Washington, Virginia is seeking letters of interest from residents who wish to be considered for nomination to either the Town Planning Commission or the Architectural Review Board. The Town Council will consider the appointments to the Planning Commission and ARB on March 14. Letters of interest will be accepted at Town Hall, 485 Gay St., Monday through Friday 9:00 am to 2:00 pm, or faxed to 540-675-1742, or mailed to P.O. Box 7, Washington, VA, 22747. All letters of interest must be received by close of business on Monday, March 12.
