Hord said that all of the materials are ready and crews are standing by as soon as the weather cooperates. “Once it’s warmer we should be able to apply the surface in three to four days,” Hord said.
Dr. Robert Chappell, the Rappahannock County Public Schools Superintendent, has said that the school administration is in the process of rescheduling the track’s first home meet. “We are in the process of trying to re-schedule the April 12, home track meet until later in the season to give the contractor more time to complete the work,” Chappell said.
