Steven Kenny to exhibit
at Six-Pack Gallery
The Six-Pack Gallery in Little Washington is pleased to announce the opening of “Incubating Avatars,” an exhibition of oil paintings by Steven Kenny. In this show Mr. Kenny presents new, never before seen paintings as well as a selection of past work.
Anyone unacquainted with Mr. Kenny’s style of painting will immediately recognize his deep connection to the Old Masters. These museurn-quality paintings are steeped in traditional technique while focusing on contemporary themes. Painted in a dark, rich range of colors, the human form figures prominently amid natural settings. Each of these imaginary characters represent aspects of our tumultuous relationship with our environment and our own human natures.
This exhibition is on view from Friday, March 2 through Sunday, J March 25. The artist will be present during the opening reception on Sunday, March 11 between 2 and 5 p.m. Refreshments will be served.
