In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers and three sisters; Frank, Bernard, Ned and Thomas Stringfellow, Carrie and Mary Stringfellow and Marie Jefferies.
She made her home with her niece and nephew, Pam and Russell Stringfellow.
Funeral services were held on Tuesday, March 6 at Moser Funeral Home in Warrenton . Interment followed in Hillcrest Memory Gardens, Jeffersonton.
Rena M. Burke

Rena Mae Burke, 81, of Luray died Monday, February 26.
Mrs. Burke was bom May 19, 1925 in Rappahannock County.
She worked 27 years as a textile worker for Wrangler and was a member of the Rocky Branch Regular Baptist Church.
Mrs. Burke was married to Wood Burke on July 5, 1940 who died February 26,1977.
She is survived by two sons, Richard A. Burke and James £. Burke, both of Luray, and two daughters, Joan Elaine Moyer of Stanley, Va. and Laura Denise Good of Luray.
Additional survivors include one sister, Annie Hawkins of Washington, VA., eight grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, 11 great-great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Burke was preceded in death by her husband, three sisters; Lillian Knight, Stella Payne and Mary Alice Elliott, four brothers; George, James Clyde, Ellis Walker, David Bennett; father, James Walker and mother, Bertha Elliott Bennett.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, March 1 at The Bradley Funeral Home, Inc. in Luray with Rev. John Boyd and Pastor Frank Painter officiating. Interment was followed in the Masonic Cemetery, Washington, Va.
