Thursday, March 15, come at 7 p.m. to the SperryviUe Fire Hall to preview the text of the village sign and to discuss placement of the three signs. This is the final stage of community input prior to the signs being returned to the high school for production.

Jeanne Drevas takes all of these elements from nature, creates from within her soul, and transforms them into fascinating, inspiring and complex art. I have one of her pieces in my counseling office and an elderly widow finds it both calm- ’ ing and inspiring. On March 2, Jeanne had an opening and reception at the Smith Farm Center for Healing and the Arts in D.C. Those attending the reception, including Pam Rubin and Larry Clark (Rappahannock weekenders) joined Jeanne in a round-table discussion of her art. If you missed the reception, Jeanne will again be at the Smith Farm Center on April 6, from 5:30 to 8 p.m., along with Dan Leonard-blues and jazz guitarist. The Center, 1632 U Street, NW, provides healing resources and support for adults who five with cancer.
