Rappahannock County High School’s varsity baseball team will make its pitch this spring for a Group A Bull Rim District championship.
And it will have plenty of arms to do it.
“Pitching is definitely going to be a strength for us,” Rappahannock County head coach Jeff Jenkins said, “if we throw strikes.”
The Panthers came within a game a year ago from qualifying for their first trip to the Region B tournament in 30 years. While graduation took All-Region left-hander Jeff Jenkins and All-District infielder Alex Sharp, Jenkins likes the potential of a balanced team that could finish in the top 3 this spring.
“We’ve got some guys who can move around (with their positions) this season,” Jenkins
