Participants will get to experience in a first hand way, the potential for group drumming to relieve stress, raise morale and facilitate wellbeing. Group drumming offers a powerful antiaote to stress and depression. It also has the power to inspire selfconfidence, cooperation and creativity. The workshop format is carefully designed to give participants an opportunity to learn about how drumming is being used with all kinds of groups: from Alzheimer’s patients to people coping with addiction, and to experience the benefits of drumming for themselves. The rhythm-based activities are presented by experienced group facilitator and presenter, Jonathan Murray. Come and experience for yourself the power and potential of rhythm-based wellness initiatives in this fun and informative workshop. Instruments provided. The cost is $25.

The Rappahannock County Republican Committee will hold its Annual Reagan Day Dinner at the Washington Firehall beginning at 6 p.m. This year’s guest speaker is Edwin “EcT Meese, III, the seventy-fifth Attorney General of the United States who served under President Ronald Reagan from 1985 to 1988.
